Catch points are functions or processes that allow asset changes to be reliably extracted and recorded in the asset repository. By continually “catching” data changes, your asset repository maintains the accuracy and integrity of a successful IT Asset Management program.

In some cases the catch points are automated via system interfaces, while in other cases they may be augmented with handheld scan technology or manual processes. Ultimately, we study your business processes, recommend the appropriate catch points, get client concensus, then document the proceedings for our client’s designated Asset Manager.
