Position: Regional Sales Manager

TekMethods, LLC is a rapidly growing and recognized leading IT Asset Management company specializing in assisting organizations in the management of their technology assets. The company works with its clients to assess their technology asset management needs, and provide tools and implementation expertise for managing the inventory, configuration, and contracts governing those assets, as well as the eventual disposal of mature assets.

TekMethods’ employees work from home offices when not traveling to client sites.

The Regional Sales Manager reports to the Director of Sales and Marketing and implements sales strategies and programs while meeting quotas and goals. The Regional Sales Manager increases sales volume primarily through direct sales efforts with some emphasis on alliance partnerships. Requirements of the position include but are not limited to the following:

  • Understanding the sales process from lead generation and qualifying, establishing rapport, creating the vision and overcoming objections through contract negotiations and client support.
  • Developing proposals that are aligned with the Company's services and technical fulfillment skills.
  • Demonstrating an ability to understand the client’s requirements and environment.
  • Developing and maintaining national or major accounts.
  • Increasing business among existing clients and promoting the organization to new clients in order to meet strategic business objectives.
  • Participating in preparations for and attendance at trade shows.
  • Maintaining fluency in the Company's methodologies, processes and procedures in order to develop creative and cost-effective business solutions and communicate them to prospects.
  • Developing sales forecasts with the Director of Sales.

Education: Bachelor's Degree or other related field or equivalent work experience.

Experience: 5 or more years of direct selling experience. Familiar with a variety of the IT asset management concepts, practices, procedures and tools. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Travel Requirement: Approximately 25% of the time.
